- PC players can also share the Stamp files with other players
- Statistics Screen: a storage tab has been added giving more info on stored goods, passive trades, active trades and general storage fluctuations
- Statistics Screen: an item/specialist tab has been added giving an overview of all owned as well as unknown specialists and their sources
- Quests can now be hidden from the quest log. You can still find them in the quest book, where it’s also possible to unhide them
- Players continuing an existing savegame now receive a short introduction to newly added features such as Stamps and Notes.
Changes & Improvements
- [Console] The install size of the game will be smaller after this update on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which should also result in smaller update sizes in the future
- This will mean a larger download for this update, however
- Changed the threshold needed to reach “Legendary difficulty” in the game setup
- The Trading Pier goods selection window is now titled “Goods” instead of “Items” to avoid confusion with the Items feature.
- Photo mode now shows the correct “take screenshot” key when playing with mouse and keyboard on consoles, including the Share button on Xbox.
- Festival governor decisions now also show your current storage for the goods cost
- An “Auto-Accept festivals” option has been added to the Options under the “Game” category.
- The war declaration screen has received visual improvements
- Goods icons in storage menus are now easier to read when passive trade settings are active.
- Updated the Amphitheatre and Hippodrome construction menus to better show each construction phase.
- Players can now clip the camera into buildings in photo mode, giving more flexibility to take shots through arches/gates
- When using the upgrade tool, the object menu now shows the name of the building being upgraded alongside the upgrade cost.
- [Modding] The mod mismatch tooltip and popup now list exactly which mods differ, and an icon in the pause menu shows whether your game is modded.
- Pressing Escape in the trade route details now returns to the trade route overview instead of closing the whole trade route screen.
- If the player resizes their game in window mode, the game will now remember that size next time the player starts the game
Balancing
- Consumption of goods increased, by making “normal” the new default difficulty
- This change only affects new save games
- “Easy” is still available to choose, as is a “very hard” difficulty with a 75% increase
- Starting money has been increased to compensate for a more difficult early game
- Good required to start a festival now take their value into account
- Players will need higher quantities of low-value goods than before but lower quantities of high-value goods
- Festivals now cost less money from the mid game onward, with the end-game cost cut from 50,000 to 25,000 coins, while at the same time scaling better with progress
- Incident attribute penalties from City Status now increase more gradually, especially around population tiers 2 and 3, while the end-game values stay the same.
- Rebalanced the effects of two aqueduct-related specialists
- Aquila Dulcis, Curator Aquarum, from +200% Water Supply to +100%
- Ductuarius, from +50% Water Supply to +25%
- Adjusted the difficulty points given by the research speed settings so that slower research gives more points instead of the faster and slower extremes being rated the same.
- Liberti Bread consumption from Splendor is now reduced to the same as Plebeians.
- Latium Mills now produce faster but have higher upkeep to compensate:
- Production time 30s -> 20s
- Internal Grain Storage 8 -> 12
- Internal Flour Storage 6 -> 9
- Maintenance 8 -> 12
- Workforce 3 -> 4
- Escort contracts should now be less frustrating: escorted ships are no longer too slow, attackers spawn further away instead of close to the convoy, and escorted ships now appear near the lighthouse where the contract was accepted.
- Shrines now all share the same range of 22 tiles, so they are easier to plan.
- The Sandarac Nursery is now classified as a plantation, so plantation buffs and effects apply to it.
- It should now also use aqueduct irrigation again
- Changes were made so that now there’s a more consistent forest coverage across difficulty settings.

That’s a lot of changes. I really appreciate all the fixes.
I have just one issue with this list – nerfing the aqueduct-related specialists. That’ll greatly disrupt everyone’s cities; the more advanced the game – the worse the disruption.
Players are already voicing their concerns on Reddit. For some, who had spend 300 hours on a single save, this might even force them to abandon the game altogether, because the disruption will be so impactful.
I don’t think that these two specialists are overpowered and there’s no need to change them.
Wow… What a lot of big fixes. Great to see. However I don’t see any fixes for scrolling on consoles in the statistics screen. This has been an issue since day 1 of the launch. Hope we will see that kind in the future, since you really often visits the statistics screen when monitoring your islands. If we could get a dev blog playing on console just for a single session, I think they would experience what console players are experiencing. Could be a great session for a change
Fix for legendary bonus of Aulus Aurius Aureus, Auric Auk + Minas Órlámh, the Gilted Touch?
