Union Update: It’s release day for The Hippodrome!

It’s the release day of “The Hippodrome”! The second expansion for Anno 117: Pax Romana is now available on all platforms and lets you build this new, huge monument and host race events for your population.

Increase your splendour to unlock stronger buffs and bonuses for your cities and host the largest races in the empire. Read more about this new DLC in our dedicated DevBlog from earlier this month.

Alongside “The Hippodrome” we’ve released Update 2.0 with not only a bunch of bug fixes but also several quality-of-life improvements and features like the photo mode, a note function and the new “heroic” specialists. Make sure you check out the patch notes for a full overview.

Gamescom is coming

In less than a week, the largest gaming trade fair, gamescom, takes once again place in Cologne. We’ll also be present this year in the Ubisoft Community Lounge with a set of panels and presentations. For your convenience, we added our schedule below – we’d love to see you there!

For anyone else, two of the panels will also be livestreamed on the official Ubisoft Twitch and YouTube channels. These panels are marked accordingly on the schedule above. Tune in and join other Anno and Ubisoft fans in the chat!

The week after gamescom we’ll also have a full recap blog post for you, and in our September-livestream we’ll not only show you more about the upcoming cosmetic pack but are also happy to answer any questions that you weren’t able to ask us at gamescom directly.
