Anno 117: Pax Romana – Release Roadmap for 2026

The first year of postlaunch for Anno 117: Pax Romana is filled with various releases: DLC, cosmetic packs, updates and smaller patches.

On this page, we want to give you a broader overview of what we have planned for the remainder of 2026. This means not just the release dates of updates, but also their content as far as that’s possible. Keep in mind patches are planned on shorter notice by us, and the content of updates can change depending on how much certain tasks can take.

To start, let’s take a look at the overall release roadmap for 2026.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the content of those releases. Please note this focuses on the planned releases, as patches in between releases are planned more short-term and are therefore not included in this roadmap. This does not mean we only release updates for the rest of the year on the mentioned occasions: patches in between will very much happen as well.

Below you will find a slightly more detailed list with improvements and changes. Keep in mind this list always just reflects the current planning from the indicated date you can find below. Plans change, features and changes can be postponed, adjusted and in rare cases even moved to an earlier update. We will only be able to confirm the definitive list of changes for an update closer to its release – that’s what the patch notes are for.

Looking further into the future…

Some other topics didn’t make the cut for this year’s updates, as unfortunately our time is limited and we can’t do all the things we would love to. That doesn’t mean the topic(s) are dead: we want to work on them at a later date and still release them for you.

One such topic is, as some of you will have noticed, the increased mod support: the ingame mod-browser, which allows subscribing to and downloading mods directly from within the game, and connected mod manager have moved from their late 2026 release to next year.

Generally, we’ll keep you updated on all our plans for Anno 117: Pax Romana’s future here via the Anno Union, so, stay tuned!
